Spintronics
Our laboratory studies spintronics.
In spintronics, two fundamental properties of electrons, charge (electric property) and spin (magnetic property), are utilized simultaneously. We aim at clarifying novel physical phenomena with the interplay of charge and spin, and applying them to high-functional and low-power information technologies.
Information
- Our laboratory works jointly with the Ikeda Laboratory and the Åkerman Laboratory. In addition, part of our educational activities is conducted in collaboration with the Otuka Laboratory.
